I second Charles Oren's opinion

in response to reader comment: Who lives on occupied land, Muslims or israel?

Dear Dr Pipes,

The humans of planet earth must retrain themselves to judge Islam using the same scale that they use for every other philosophy. I concur with Charles Oren that most of the land currently occupied by Muslims was illegitimately acquired them by using cruel methods in cruel wars.

And, even more importantly, these lands are illegitimately held even now: while everyone else must afford freedom of thought and democracy, Muslim are allowed to maintain their Islam-only enclaves and even create new ones. To drive the point home, we must protect every citizen of Iran (for example) who wants to abandon Islam and it is not possible in Iranian Islamic theocracy.

So, the Muslims need to fix up their act and very very fast. It does not really matter to any non-Muslim what Allah, Quran, or Muhammad said.
