CampusWatch Si; Biased Profs No!

Reader comment on item: Debating Campus Watch

Submitted by Dr. Richard Benkin (United States), Sep 29, 2002 at 08:42

CampusWatch.org is an invaluable service to students and their families...

Opponents of your efforts ignore the psychological (and sometimes physical) harm that they cause these youths. This issue is part of threads on a couple egroups in which I am active, and I am drafting a set of principles for combating the commerce of fraud going on in our universities.

Those profs who appear on your list have not been threatened with loss of employment in ability to get published or speak. Yet their students have been misled by these purveyors of misinformation because they cloak their biases in the authority of their academic positions, without any context in which their personal beliefs can be seen as such.

Bravo to you!
