Reader comment on item: Debating Campus Watch

Daniel Pipes:

We're so proud of what you are doing. I heard you speak recently in Colorado Springs at the rally protesting Hanan Ashwari speaking at Colorado College for a 9/11 event. I look forward to hearing you again at the University of Denver on October 16.

In Colorado Springs you said that we among the first to challenge speakers coming to college campuses and spreading their distortions of history to impressionable college student. As a result of our confrontation, Ashwari deviated from her planned speech and rambled about "nothing" for an hour. Thus, confrontation forced her to tone down he distortions because she knew we were watching and we were willing to challenge her with the truth.

Direct, peaceful confrontation works!
