A good and accurate report

Yes, it is true. I have been pastoring an Iranian congregation in Melbourne for the past decade and can testify to the genuineness of this movement.

In my experience, most Iranians dislike Islam intensely.

One Iranian friend fell in love with the Jews from listening to compulsory public corporate cursing of Jews at Friday mosque sessions. He reasoned that if these morally corrupt people - the Islamic leaders - hate the Jews so much, there must be something wonderful about them. He has loved Jews and Israel ever since. Now he is a very firm and committed Christian.

To go from around 500 coverts in 1978 to over one million today is extraordinary. If this rate of conversion to Christianity continues, Islam will be majority Christian by 2050. The longer the current regime hangs on, the more motivated Iranian people will be to reject Islam.

And this is by no means the only whole-scale movement of a people group of Islam into Christianity in the world today. But it is the more advanced.
