Begging an indulgence from Dr. Pipes, the antagonists that surround Israel from the immediately surrounding proxy perimeters and from abroad in pro-'Palestinian' fervor that mimics, but does not completely mirror the ancient antipathies as was seen in Israel's (relatively) modern day formulation, there appears pressure that would have coerced lesser governmental entities into compliance and at least some form of dhimmitude, if not outright national collapse, like that seen in Austria's collapse before German dominance.
Much to the dismay of those who have thrown uncounted epithets of derision towards Israel, the resilience of the Jewish establishment (and those of Jewish descent in the American government that appeared to be ashamed of that association) is shown in that in spite of the pressure to do as anyone else may try to impose upon Israel, the response remains: never again!
Once again, there is the modern fulfillment of ancient promises. Once again, there is the difference between the rules of men and the Rule of Law (the Torah) and the ancillary parts of the Tanakh.
What appears to escape the mindset of humanity that tries to impose rebellious articles of empire in this modern age of socialists' secularist ideology is that Israel's governance is not determined by humanist democratic mindsets, but by the greater imposition of the will of the Eternal Sovereign in Israel's destiny.
It's all written down; all of it; and no amount of contradicting tomes such as in the Quran and the al-Hadiths; or even in misinterpreted religionist understanding of the Gospel that seeks to diminish Israel of the future is going to divert the truth of the matter: it all leads to the return of the King to Jerusalem.
Nothing will be imposed upon Israel that is not already ordained in the past, confirmed by her HaMashiach, and is, as is seen now, being prepped for the future.
