Were the Sahabah Wrong?

Reader comment on item: Israel's Policy Should Be Victory

Submitted by Eric Brazau (Canada), May 19, 2021 at 19:03

Perhaps I am missing something that is obvious.
Who is going to convince Sheikh Ameenah Bilal Philips or Daniel Haqiqotjo or Younis kathadra or Karim AbuZaid or, or.
These men as well as countless others back up their position, very solidly, with the Koran, aHadith & Sunnah. Contained in Islamic doctrine is the concept
that those who attempt to introduce change are deviants sent by Shatan. All who have attempted bringing change to blasphemy laws in Pakistan have been murdered by their bodyguards. Islam, at it core has an essence. The question is who knows this better than the Sheiks Imams & Islamic scholars? A % of the Ummah will be in the Salafist, Sunni camp. Would you like to discuss what that % is. Perhaps we could ask Daniel Pipes.
