Reader comment on item: Enforce Islamic Law in Canada?

Submitted by Mary (United Kingdom), Oct 3, 2005 at 05:41

I broadly agree with what you are saying but some other posters refer to a "moral vacuum" created by "Godlessness" in our Western Societies which Islam is using to recruit people to their religion. Officially though, the two most Godless societies on the planet - Japan and Sweden - are relatively free of crime, murder and all the other things that seem to plague the Western world. Perhaps some other posters might like to comment on this and why they think this is so.

The French had to overthrow a brutal dictatorship that was forged through a bloody alliance of Catholicism and the Monarchy to create the Republic. If you view it in this historical context you will understand their reaction to the creeping grip of Islam in their schools and why the hijab was abolished. All over the West, Islamists are practising what Trotyskists used to do - the term was called "entryism" and was a method for Trotskyites to enter high positions in political life or the elite through using mainstream political parties and also use schools and universities as indoctrination centres. We are now seeing this same method practised in the UK by Islam.
