Reader comment on item: [Bureaucratic Leftism and] Globalthink's Perils
Submitted by Tom Halley (United States), Sep 25, 2002 at 09:37
Sometimes we do not always realize that there are others out there who seem to understand what is going on in world politics. Our nation is the last bastion of the ideal of a democratic republic. That ideal of our founding fathers and our unique Constitution has never fully caught on in the rest of the world. We now find ourselves in the position of facing world forces attempting to isolate us and marginalize our influence on the world stage.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
