The existence of "moderate" Muslims

Pipes says some very important things to which I agree, regarding Islamo-fascists, but I find it hard to accept the existence of "moderate" Muslims. After studying Islam religious views and statements from the Koran, I learned that it is a Muslim religious duty to spread the faith by force where possible, and by guile elsewhere. Jihad is alive and well and America and the non-Muslim world had better confront it while there is still time...
