There Is No Moderate Islam But There Could Be

... The Quran as written does not allow a moderate interpretation. Surah 9 says to fight the unbelievers until they are in subjection. Ibn Kathir says that means the whole world. There is no moderate version of that. A Christian or a Secularist is not in a position to tell them there is, or to promote or defend it even if there were.
