I started work for Senator Jackson in the Senate in March 1974 and never met your father, but remember him so well. Thank you for posted this. I love his statement that because he was spared he felt that he could not live a life of self-indulgence of self-aggrandizement. Marvelous words from a courageous man. I learn from your work and use it in my own. Keep going. Sincerely, Jere Van Dyk
