1949 United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) - to be defunded

Reader comment on item: Why Palestinian Delusions Persist

Submitted by Ludvikus (United States), Jan 7, 2018 at 13:04

Created in 1949 to support 750,000 Palestinian Refugees, the population number now is 5,000,000.

Unlike any other refugees in the world,
this population includes every generational descendant since 1949.
Obviously, every textbook written for the education of Palestinian children
has been funded by this educational arm of the UN.
Among those narratives promoted is that of "victimhood" at the hands of Jews, sometimes known as Israelis.

Now, Gregg Roman, and PM Netanyahu are considering "demoting" the status of the refugees
to one that is no different, more or less, than that of any other refugee population - no special rights.

It is an obvious aspect of prejudice against the Jews of Israel
to have 5,000,000 people on these rolls ... with the "Right of Return"
One cannot "blame" the "welfare recipient" alone for his or her status so artificially created.

An additional "improvement" would be to "settle" this population ... everywhere other than Israel or Palestine.
