CAIR is speaking again but I demand something form them

Reader comment on item: CAIR: Islamists Fooling the Establishment

Submitted by Prashant (United States), Nov 10, 2016 at 07:41

Dear Dr Pipes, After 9/11, Trump's victory in the US general elections is going to be the next biggest advertising opportunity for the Islamists. Islamists battle cry around the world is going to be: how can elect as President a person who is so openly calling Islamists names and questioning their practices and policies.

CAIR is already active. They are already talking about the "fears" that Muslims are facing in America. I agree that US law enforcement should prevent any possible attacks on Islamic people and establishments in the US. But I want to assert in so uncertain terms that CAIR and other Islamists will not look pretty until they equally forcefully demand establishment of secular democracies in the Islamic world.

I repeat that the hypocrisy that Islamists demand all democratic rights in the countries where they are in minority but shamelessly establish theocracies in the regions where they are in majority is unacceptable and must stop. We need secular democracy in pretty much every part of the world.

Islamophobia is justified and will continue until Islam extends the same rights to others that it demands from them.
