"Never buy a car from a Turk!"

Reader comment on item: The Mundane Origins of Germany's Huge Turkish Population

In Germany there is a common saying: "Never buy a car from a Turk!"

I tried it. Because common sayings could be myths. And? I called the guy who wanted to sell his car. I was in my twenties. I had no prejudice about Turks. We Germans were brainwashed that aliens must be saints. So I showed up there and was about to examine his "car". To sum it up, it looked rather like a cave with real fur inside and not like a car. So the examination could come to an end pretty quick.

I had some other contacts with Turks thereafter and I can say now, with lesson(s) learned:

Don't buy ANYTHING from a Turk (or Muslim for that matter with another Experience while traveling to Egypt)! No promise, no nothing! Unless you love to get screwed! Well, there is an exception: I had a few contacts with some Turkish woman and they were nice (not all of them, but some). But they do usually not sell cars (or anything else).

Of course there are exceptions. Which I learned in Egypt. While meeting just average people. But average people in North Africa, Little Asia or the Middle East won't in general immigrate to Europe! They just live their lives close to the area where they were born. Where they find the social life of their belief system.

What's going on now in Germany and Europe is insane. It's the suicide of the developed culture of a continent. So I think if you start with immigration of Muslims it is a huge mistake. It starts small, but in the end it is giving up your culture, you country, everything.
