German uniforms, rifles and drill in the picture

Andrew, the uniforms you see are in the style of the Wehrmacht. The carbines you see are Mauser 98K and they do perform the traditional Prussian rifle drill. I learned that myself, same carbine, same drill, only 25 years ago.

I would expect to recognize an eagle sitting on a swastika if I could blow up the picture enlarging the hats of the officers following Al Husseini.
