ISIS and the Mosul DamReader comment on item: The Acute Danger of Iraqi Dams Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 4, 2014 at 06:37 Dr. Pipes you wrote Assuming this is true, ISIS has three main options to make trouble: reduce or cut off water intermittently; permit flooding; or not maintain the dam, leading to its collapse. I believe that ISIS will not maintain the dam because they are too busy murdering others and forcing Christians out of the Nineveh plains and looting their belongings and homes oh and they are busy reading a poorly written and violent book called the Qur'an so they will not maintain the dam The real danger is what is next? Kurdistan or even Turkey? What would stop ISIS? the only hope is Iran
