In The Christian - or Ghetto? - Spirit

Reader comment on item: Non-Muslims Who Fast for Ramadan

That's very charming really. Given the worldwide Muslim obsession with wiping out Israel, in addition to all of the attacks on diaspora Jews, this sort of ecumenicism by Jews strikes me as a sort of love-thine-enemy and turn-the-other-cheek approach, which is very Christian of them.

Speaking of forgiveness: Paula Stern, a mother of two IDF soldiers, awards an annual Ghetto Jew of the Year award. Last year's award went to a Natorei Karta Rabbi in Amsterdam who was beaten up by two Muslims, but then forgave them and remarked that they just didn't know what kind of Jew he was - an anti-Zionist one, of course.
