Secularism and islam

The simple answer is no as in Islam there is no distinction between the sacred (islam and Islamic law) and the profane (politics) and indeed Islamists tell us that: al-Islam deen wa dawla or Islam is religion and the state which means that there is no secularism as you will find in the west
