Reader comment on item: Obama's Anti-Zionism

Submitted by Stas (Ukraine), Jan 16, 2013 at 01:13

In this day and age it is all too possible to refer to one choice of reality and the news cycles that support it. More than ever before, the internet and the polarization of liberal and conservative thought has created separate realities in which one camp sees the world, politics and economics in a totally different light due to the views proclaimed on their chosen sites or channels. It becomes virtually impossible to reconcile or agree on basic realities, let alone agree to policies that will result in any real productivity. I fear that this trend will only increase over time.

The left and right are no longer bound geographically but philosophically and we see these polarities in all western countries. The eastern countries obviously are not subject to such debilitating conditions.
