The perfect scenario: Islamists protesting against Google

Reader comment on item: Rampaging Islamists

Dear Dr Pipes:

When I see thousands of Muslims protesting at the Google office in London, I cannot but see it as a perfect scenario. I expect that in the years to come, fundamental Islamists will be so busy defending Islam at all cost that they will be left with no with no time to educate themselves, make money or raise children. In effect, they will be economically starved to extinction.

In this information age, information spreads all around literally at the speed of light. It cannot be kept hidden in a place. It cannot be kept hidden under the veil of an untranslated language. It cannot be kept from spreading all around. If the Islamic doctrine is all good, so will be known to everyone. If parts of it are questionable, they will be called so by so many that Islamists will go jobless and bankrupt defending it. So if people protest against Google in London, the right response is 'bring them on'.
