Rampaging Catholics

Catholics, tired of the nightly insults to your God and your faith in comedy routines and talk shows? Tired of insulting Broadway hits, and "art" that exists to offend you, your faith, Jesus and St. Mary? Well, the solution is clear. And simple. Just run around murdering people and wrecking things in response to the next insult, no matter how obscure and no matter its source. Then, insults against the Catholic faith will immediately become "inflammatory" and therefore not protected by that quaint First Amendment.

Throwing a crucifix into a jar of urine and calling it "art"? Oops, can't do that, that would inflame Catholics, and we know what they'll do when they're offended. How many more will die, how many more art museums will burn to the ground before we learn not to offend those suddenly thin-skinned Catholics?

Covering St. Mary with elephant dung, surrounding her with vaginas and calling it "art"? I wouldn't advise it. Catholics will find you; your days will be numbered.

Today, no one trembles in fear as Catholics pour out of churches across the country every Sunday. Just a simple change to that state of affairs will put an end to years of insults and derision. Plus the side benefit of a newfound respect for Catholics in our government, media and on our campuses.
