Possible, but more likely he is voicing his constituents' wishes

It is possible Kucinich has some sort of complex, but more importantly, he has been reflecting the opinions and stances of his constituents and of his financial supporters. When listening to a politician, one should always carefully check where his largest funding or fundraisers come from.
