Debanjan Banerjee's ideas about surplus Kurdish population

Dear Dr Pipes:

Those of us who live in free societies and value freedom of thought like it when opinions are freely shared. But some thoughts are so dangerous that they should not be allowed to be expressed without a proper rebuttal.

Your reader Debanjan Banerjee said: "I believe the surplus Kurdish population should be encouraged to settle in lands like Israel and elsewhere in Eastern Europe."

I do not know if Banerjee is ... or he has some immense sense of entitlement, or his only purpose is to irritate others but what he said is bizarre and dangerous. His statement is so absurd that it is difficult to argue against it reasonably.

I am repeating Banerjee's statement above so that more of your readers read it and realize that dangerous ideas do exist.
