But maybe for them it's not a mistake at all? Maybe they have their deep reasons to go on and on doing the same? They have the ambition of undisputed hegemony in the world but their resources are limited, their economy is slowly declining.They live on borrowed money.They need allies to get rid of their new global competitor (and creditor) China.

They beat fascism relying on Soviet communism.They beat Soviet communism relying on jihad. Why not call on the old friends again to beat Chinese communism ?
