Reader comment on item: Why Egypt Will Not Soon Become Democratic

That's right: Mubarak will not go quietly into the sunset; Egypt never had a civil society and other forces are far stronger than garden variety democrats. But a revolution has got to start somewhere, right? It doesn't appear so here, because the will and the anger has petered out.
