White House RSS Feeds

Reader comment on item: Erasing the George W. Bush Administration Online

Within 24 to 48 hours of the transition from the Bush to Obama White House, the RSS feeds that daily sent me Presidential press releases and OFFICIAL documents was terminated (with prejudice I suppose). I had to wait about 10 days to 2 weeks before the RSS feeds from the White House resumed. Given that these "documents" are public record, I find no sustainable reason for the discontinuation from administration to administration of White House correspondence. It is the people's government, not the President's.
