You would do well to read some literature on Islam that is balanced. If you only read the literature against Jesus Christ, you would not recognize the actual Gospel. Islam has been distorted in the hands of some of its clergy. Most Muslims just want to go about their business and live moral lives in harmony with God's wishes. A good balanced book is Hasan Balyuzi's "Muhammad and the Course of Islam." If Islam is the source of the problem, how do you explain the extraordinary contributions of the Muslims, to mathematics, chemistry, astronomy, architecture, medicine, pharmacology, etc. when Muslim society was at its high water mark?
