OK, If Not Sharia - Then What?

Reader comment on item: Why Shariah Must Be Opposed
in response to reader comment: What and where is Shariah ?

An interesting observation, that there is no codified book of shari'a. If we are to understand then, no such compilation of Islamic based set of mores, of a doctrine of Islamic ethics, what then, are the Taliban, al-Qaeda, the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Islamic militants of the Malays, the Philippines, Bangladesh, etc., etc., trying to say when they desire the law of Islam to be the model of their societies?

Conversely, the codification of the law of Almighty God is already complete, already perfect in its imposition, and requires only obedience to its Author and its precepts.

One: Love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, all thy soul, and all thy mind.

Two: Love thy neighbor as thyself.

On these two depend all other laws.

Now, quick as any that might say there is some deficiency in this application of the Hebrew Holy Bible, remember that the same argument against the law of the Almighty God of the Hebrew Holy Bible was made at the time of the Islamic prophet, where based on such argument, he felt led to dictate the Quran for his followers.

If, as purported by the previous reader, there is no codification of shari'a and the Quran, which by itself does not provide the precepts necessary for governance of its followers, then why is there the cry for Islam to be made the law of the land in Muslim nations (indeed the world, according to some who kill for its implementation)? In actuality, there is no such actual need, only the perception, necessary for domination by the Islamic revolutionary leadership.

All to prove a point, that a sinful humanity would rather defy Almighty God and look to a substitute for His Holy Bible than to love and obey Him at His WORD.
