Solidified by Bill Clinton

Reader comment on item: Obama and Netanyahu Meet: What's Next?

Submitted by Alan Fox (United States), May 19, 2009 at 16:11

Dr. Pipes, we finally disagree. This was a very on-point article until the last 4 words. How exactly were relations solidified by Bill Clinton ?

Oh yes, that's right...Bill Clinton and Dennis Ross ambushed the Israelis in 2000 and got the Palestinians everything they ever demanded. The result was more terror, death and destruction.

My fondest hope is that Barack Obama tries to pull the same stunt and the Israelis finally throw off the suicide shackles imposed on Israeli security by the left in both the U.S. and in Israel.
