Sufi muslims killed hundreds of thousands of Hindus and Sikhs in present day Punjab. This happened in 1946-1948.

The number is unknown, but could be as high as a million. If this is the peaceful version of islam, imagine the violent one.

The violent islam killed close to 80-100 million Hindus, in the present day Afghanistan/Pakistan and India.

Regarding your claim that west progressed under islam, it is an outright lie. Basically making mountains out of mole hills.
Some books were preserved, due to disinterest and other reasons. All the progress islam, claims is due to the first or second generation forced converts to islam. Usually after 1-2 centuries, islam wipes out the inquisitiveness of any person or civilization and making obedeient and unquestioning part takes over the rationality and other traits needed for scientific study.

Expand your horizon, beyond your local Mollah or just islamic propaganda..

There is a whole new rational and other great things in the rest of the Kaafir world..
