The last two paragraphs speak more to the reality of the Islamic threat in this world than "terrorism".

Reader comment on item: The Limits of Terrorism

Terrorism has its advocates amongst the Muslim population, but as this "jihad theorist" obviously sees, there is no need of outright victory from the terrorists any longer. Muslim influence in western politics and the media plus their rapidly expanding population that vastly eclipses native populations, is going to be much more effective in fighting the western political structure.

Unless western populations are awakened to what is happening in the world, the fight against terrorists is going to be moot. Population demographics is more at the root of the problem. Western nations as a whole have lost their grip on who holds power in the human sector. The loss of any godly beliefs at all is costing us the battle where it matters. The power of religious belief or lack thereof, is more the deciding factor. The citizens of the Americas, Australia, and Europe have lost their moral anchor and are sailing adrift in a world that has an accelerating growth of those who believe in "Allah". That is the power of Islam whether terrorist or otherwise.

The growth of Muslim populations is leading to political power and is buttessed by the implied threat of the militants, a win-win thrust in a planet otherwise populated by the moral and politicaly clueless.

The slop religion prevalent in western society will never stand against the strong hold of adamant Islam. Those who believe in the Christ are a dwindling number exactly as prophesied, but will win out in the end at the second return of the Messiah. More correctly, the Christ himself, as prophesied, will be the victor in what will appear as an otherwise hopeless military situation. The majority of the existing population was clueless at the first appearance of Christ and will be so again. That will quickly and decisively change.

Islam will gain more ground in this world towards their eventual but temporary position of dominance. As Jesus himself said, they will think they are on God's side in persecuting to almost oblivion his true believers. They will think they are fighting for God when in actuality they have been suckered in by Satan's most devastating and monumental lie, that of Islam. Those who believe in neither god, will be the most bewildered at the end.
