Would Dr. Pipes connect the reinterpretation of the Shari'a by Islamists for political purposes with the "Strange Sex Stories from the Mulsim World," as he noted that Islamists are "not who they say they are"?

In my opinion, the common denominator for such a linkage would be an ethical system based on the community rather than the individual.
