PR not totally lost on Canadians

Reader comment on item: Israel's War on Hamas: A Dozen Thoughts

Submitted by DDF (Canada), Jan 4, 2009 at 08:33

Although I am Canadian, my disgust with CUPE (Canadian Union of Public Employees) Ontario, drives me to note that there are some - most notably on the Left - who are well within the embrace of Hamas/Hizbollah/Syria/Iran. They voted overwhelmingly in 2006 to boycott Israel.

Most recently their Paul Moist has written a letter to the Prime Minister saying that our "government has stated publically your support for the Israeli people to protect themselves from attack. This is a woefully inadequate and frankly shameful response on behalf of Canadians."
I talk more fully at Five by Five.
