I agree. The word "Jew" is a pejorative and only 1 syllable

I came to this conclusion about two years ago.

Before we were jews, we were Hebrews. Just another tribe with good and bad allowed to commit transgressions like any other being.

The word "jew', "white", "thief", "yid", "dunce", "fool" "rat", "creep", "scum" etc.. is 1 syllable. Insults are often of only 1 syllable: "thug", "poor", "butt".

But,

Christian: 2 syllables

Muslim: 2 syllables

Catholic, Shintoist: 3 syllables

Hindu, Buddhist: 2 syllables

Scientologist: 5!! syllables.

Communist: 3 syllables

Negro: 2 syllables

I see a pattern in the number of syllables and the public's attitude towards that group.

The attitude of the public and the number of syllables is generally positively related with few exceptions.

English, Francais, Italian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, American, Canadian: all more than 1 syllable.

An exception is "Dutch": 1 syllable or "Abe": 1 syllable (BTW "Pipes" is 2 syllables, no?)

OF ALL RELIGIONS, ONLY "JEW" IS 1 SYLLABLE. You you can say " Jewish": 2 syllables but THE ONLY RELIGION YOU REDUCE TO 1 SYLLABLE IS "JEW".

HEBREW: 2 SYLLABLES.
