Remember, our "Conservative" president has worked against us consistently

Reader comment on item: Washington Protects the Terror Masters [in Courtrooms]

This is of a piece with so many of Administration's betrayals of our country and/or his conservative voters.

  • Remember Bush calling Islam a "religion of peace" on 9/11.
  • Remember Bush walking literally hand-in-hand with Saudi King Abdullah in 2002 or 2003 (classic photo, look for it on the web.)
  • Remember Bush's district attorney giving immunity to the Mexican drug dealer to prosecute the US border guard.
  • Remember Bush's "Justice" department appearing on behalf of the "rights" of the convicted illegal-immigrant double-murderer because the poor dear wasn't reminded to contact the Mexican consulate (or something like that).
Nothing disloyal that this administration does surprises me anymore, although I can still be shocked without surprise (I guess.)

I'm more surprised that Dr. Pipes is still reasonably well-disposed to them (though not on this.)

The administration has been a fur-ball of expensive and mostly misdirected activity since 9/11. This is a trivial example.
