Peter Arnett's freedom to speakReader comment on item: Iraq: What's Next? Submitted by lucy koteen (United States), Apr 1, 2003 at 09:39 What ever happened to freedom of speech? Arnett just said what everyone else has said but he said it on Iraqi TV. What is the difference. Shame on NBC for not protecting his freedom of speech. Is it only the "embedded" reporters who have the right to speak?Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
