The American Left. Don't get caught up in the yesterday's "bi-directional lovefest" that American liberals had with Israel. It is gone. In fact, the greatest American ally Israel has is the evangelical Christian movement. Repudiate that at your own political risk. I am Roman-Catholic and pro-Israel, but I am losing patience with the American Jewish community's allegiance to the left.
