Reader comment on item: President Bush Replies to My Iraq Critique
in response to reader comment: The Bush Response

The biggest mistake we made from the beginning of the war was the lack of man-power to go along with the firepower, the first gulf war we had over 700,000 US troops and the war was over in about three weeks, with the exception of going on to Baghdad and then wiping out Sadam and his infrastructure, we would not be in Iraq Invasion part two.

We also should put a Kurd national in charge of Iraq and go after Al Sadr and his bunch of renegades and destroy them, including the mosques, they are only storage for arms and hate talk anyway, nothing holy about them or the mullahs, they're all militants, insurgents. We need to crack down on the current situation with the addition of as many troops as it takes to finish the war.

Our low deployment of troops shows up as weakness on our part and makes our troops a turkey shoot for snipers and roadside bombs. These people understand only one thing ! Brute force! I have e-mailed the White House many times and sent similar e-mails as this, I know the President seems to be getting the message to let our guys fight the war and win instead of one arm behind their back and always apoligizing for mishaps.

We need fight to win and to hell with what the rest of the world thinks, we don't really have any allies except Israel, most of our so-called friends have turned into wimps and appeasers to the muslims. Our guys need our continual daily prayers and the Iraqi citizens, soldiers, police that really do want freedom from tyranny and I believe most of them do. They are the ancient Chaldean people from whom Abraham came out of, whom God called his friend, because he will teach his children about me. [Jehovah not Allah the moon god].
