Muslim educationReader comment on item: Separation of Civilizations? Submitted by donvan (United States), Aug 4, 2006 at 15:59 The educated Muslim is just as likely to blow him or herself up as a noneducated one , so why give them a seat? We are so reliant on the westen philosophy of matriculated education, we assume that the process of obtaining an academic degree will supplant the impulse of the psycological construct we name "Muslim". Mohammedians pursue western education to better enable the Mohammedian social construct to attain equal status to the majority society. Any individual with a strong enough attachment to the dogma of the Koran, and other Mohammedian dogma to internalize the monacre of "Muslim" has internalized a system of thought and action which is the antithesis of Western rational thought. Obviously, the academics want the cash from foreign students. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
