Does Islam teaches Muta'a or Misyar ??
Reader comment on item: Misyar – Temporary Marriage in Sunni Islam

Submitted by Khatib (Pakistan), Aug 2, 2006 at 09:23

I have just one comment on the content of this weblog entry.. that is.. Islam never taught us Misyar or Muta'a. I would like to add further that there is no such thing as "Sunni Islam" or "Shia'it Islam" !! Besides if a muslim arab or non-arab community, in the past or in the present times, has created a system of life for its own convenience it should not be attributed to Islam.

What Islam teaches is all written in the Books, the Talmud, Torah, Bible and the Qur'aan, the former three revelations being changed many times by the pocessors for their own convenience. Islam is just one code of life that is being taught by the God Almighty since He created the man and the woman. Islam is one single religion preached by all the messengers of God through the books / revelations given to them, and based on one single principal.. "there is only One God and no one except One God and there is no one like Him". All the messengers and prophets of God being only selective human beings made of flesh and bones, appointed by The God to reveal this message to the mankind.

We, the so called civilized men and women, never read or learn or agree with what the holy books teach us but its amazing that we love to attribute our self-made traits to our religions!!
