massive aggression against civiliansReader comment on item: Israel's Unnecessary War Submitted by anirban (Cameroon), Jul 31, 2006 at 10:27 You cannot have rights without accountability. It is the right of the lebanese people to venerate hizbollah, as a significant majority in the south of Lebanon do, both morally and materially. This makes them accountable to answer for Hizbollah's actions as well. That they may not be the frontline fighters is not relevant in this case. They have called for the destruction of Israel through Hizbollah, they have chosen war through Hozbollah. They cannot then hold up their hands and claim to be "innocent" civilians. They can only claim that label when they openly come out, demonstrate against Hizbollah (not against Israel/USA/UN/etc) and show that they are against Hizbollah and are prepared to do whatever it takes to stop Hizbollah.
