The "Eid" holidays are feasts which typically are celebrated at sundown, after people would be done with work/school and are not "days of rest". In other words, going to school in no way interferes with the Muslim celebration of their festival

where have you been learning about muslim holidays? yes they do start with sundown but actual day is next day , we have to "masjid" and offer prayer(service), and basically that next day's prayer is the actual holiday instead of celebration, and in case of "Eid al adha" it lasts for three days, please refrain your common sense that muslim holidays are celebrated after sunset.
