But what I don't understand is why it is so effective, unless it depends on the lack of clarity in the minds of the victims. It is such a simple and transparent ruse, I would never have thought it could be so effective. Maybe it's just that they have had 1300 years to work all the bugs out? And, even when you show those they have fooled how they operate, those victims still don't often 'get it'. It's pretty frustrating. regards.
