We're still on course

Reader comment on item: Civil War in Iraq?

I believe we are still on course to achieving our highest goals in Iraq. I fail to see why it will be any problem to us if the Sunni and Shiite Iraqi must go through a great conflagration of hatred and chaos before the come to realize, if I may be allowed to paraphrase Li'l Abner and Al Capp, "Nice is nicer than ugly." Understanding that will be the end result of their mutual murder.
