show solidarity with Danes, we're at war

Reader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism

Submitted by Jobro (United States), Feb 7, 2006 at 15:04

I do not support the US position of apologist in this matter. MSM in America has not yet taken the gauntlet in describing what are the real reasons behind the Islamic protests. As the terrorists are trying to use the cartoons for their end to incite retaliation in the name of Islam, the West, including US and UK, must also take this opportunity to show solidarity with the Danes.

This is not a matter of freedom of the press; we are now at war, one that unfortunately pits Islam against other religions, especially Christians and Jews. The Islamic terrorists groups for years have used Islam as its tool for developing their WMD's, twisting the minds of its youth in their schools and mosques. We are seeing the fruits of these labors. How easy it is for them to bring thousands of rioters to a site.

9/11? Spain? London? Paris? Danes? These are planned acts of terror that will continue to grow. It has nothing to do with desecrating any religious image, everything to do with going to war.

Where is the voice of reason within Islam that wants to put a stop to the riots and terrorists acts. It doesn't exist.

The Cold War was about political ideologies, this one only wears another face, the face of Islam, and we're being told to submit and bow in its image. No way.
