Double Standard At WorkReader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism Submitted by AnneM (United States), Feb 7, 2006 at 09:11 Mr. Pipes, you are once again spot on in your commetary. What is simply going on is double standard at work. While in the Muslim world it is okay to insult other faiths in general and Jewish and Christian faiths in particular, when twelve cartoons on Mohammed come out, the Muslim world becomes outrage. What the West must do is stand up to the Muslim community and point out the hypocrisy of their protests when they have done many things to insult those who are not Muslim. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
