As a proud Australian I thank you for saying the things that need to be said. The world needs more poiticians like Peter Costello and less of the poiticians and officials around the world that try to rob us of our identity in the small things they take away from us. I could never immagine Peter Costello allowing Christmas to be tinkered with, or the cross symbol to be removed or the many little things that we allow to apease the muslims. If we dont encourage more people like Peter Costello then we will only have ourselves to blame when we wake up one day and fail to recognise the country we once called home.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
