The Religious Rational: Muslims vs. Jews, Christians vs. Jews

Reader comment on item: The United Nations Misplaces Israel's Capital City
in response to reader comment: De Facto Capital vs. De Jure Capital

Dear Daniel Pipes,

There is also the - perhaps unconscious - dimension for this "absurdity."
To recognize Jerusalem as the Capitol of the Jews of Israel
impacts the Christian Religious notion that Jesus
came to fulfill the Law (of the Jews).
Accepting Jerusalem as the Capitol of Jews
without Jews accepting Jesus as the Son of God
is deemed "unacceptable."
Similarly, as Muhammad, on his horse Burak
ascended to Heaven from Jerusalem,
as the Last Prophet
implies that the Jews cannot revive their Capitol
from the Muslim Conquest precisely because
Muhammad isn't accepted as the Last Prophet.

So if one knows one's history
there is no absurdity
in the Enemies of the Jews of Israel
having the Christian-Muslim world
refusing to recognize Jerusalem
as the Capitol of a Jewish Israel.
