Why Is CAIR Still Sitting on American Soil?Reader comment on item: CAIR Founded by "Islamic Terrorists"? Submitted by Always On Watch (United States), Jul 28, 2005 at 19:36 Mr. Pipes:With all the extensive research results provided here, it's time to for the Department of Homeland Security to move on this information. Furthermore, through its Library Project, CAIR has placed all sorts of reading materials into every public-library system in the United States. Considering the above-cited words of Bagby, Hooper, and Ahmad, shouldn't any reading material placed by CAIR now be scrutinized for subversiveness and propagandizing? How closely is the alma mater of aspiring Presidential assassin Ahmed Abu Ali--the Islamic Saudi Academy in Fairfax County, Virginia--affiliated with CAIR? Based on two years of my own research, I firmly believe that the ISA is promoting Wahhabism, but I haven't explored any ties the school has with CAIR. You have, of course, previously written on the topic of ISA, so you are in a position to answer the question at the beginning of this paragraph. Respectfully submitted, Always On Watch Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: I do not know about ties between the two institutions.DP Comment on this item
