Daniel, I have difficulty agreeing with you

Daniel, I would be much more inclined to agree with your position if you could show me examples of "moderate muslims". Assuming 10% of muslims are radical, that's a billion or so who are "not". But where are they, who are they, what have they done to fight radical islam despite their vastly superior numbers. And, by the way, what does "moderate" mean anyway? Moderate as opposed to what? The radicals of ISIS? So what is a "moderate"? Someone who just doesn't cut peoples throats?

I don't know about secularism, but we do know that the Shah, Attaturk, Mubarak, Saddam, Assad, kept the lid on. Perhaps the strongman is the solution?
